Hi, welcome to my website. My name is Mim Smallman and I live in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, Australia. On my property is a Vineyard called Mim's Vineyard where we make chirping bird wines and my studio is amidst the garden and vineyard.
My main interests at the moment are portraits, landscapes and still life's. Enjoy looking through my gallery and if you interested in purchasing one or having your own paintings done for you then please feel free to contact me.

  The Cupcake painting of Jennifer Graham will be hanging at the "Hidden Faces" exhibition at the Hilton in Southbank throughout June along with 42 other Victorian Archibald entries if you would like to go along for a look.

My last lot of portraits was of Rhys Uhlich. I loved capturing Rhys in a painting, he generously gave me his time and support. He has extraordinarily handsome features and so many wonderful looks that I've done six paintings of him. In this particular panting of a casual pose I wanted to capture his free spirit with the love of surfing and natural surrounds. And I've never had so many budding women artists offering their help with this project.
I will enter this painting into a national portrait prize
